  • “Slowing down is really hard for me and I learned so much on how to do that in this training. I appreciated the detail and depth of the content. It was all so important. I learned so much more than expected. I loved all the teacher trainers and how they used the space. Every section of the guide was filled with so much useful content. I also appreciate the independent coursework questions that accompany the teacher guide. It's helping me process more of this training and make my learning more personal.”

    - Alex, Washington, D.C.

  • “The healing I have received from the Teacher Training has already begun to permeate my body and my life. I can see and feel its effects on the people around me and the ways I engage with the world. I will be unpacking and processing the known and unknown ways this Teacher Training has benefited me for years to come. I am grateful.”

    — Justine, Oakland, CA

  • “I liked that every part of the Teacher Training was invitational and we weren’t pushed beyond our comfort. I loved how warm and welcoming everyone was and how it was not just a place to learn but to heal as well.”

    — Elle, Washington, D.C.

  • “The training i received shifted how i approach my work by first allowing me to heal from my own sexual trauma. In doing so, i began to reflect on the lack of access to sexual trauma informed yoga in the Black community. I wanted to make these spaces SAFE to folks who are trying to own their pleasure and explore coming home to their bodies. The curriculum gave me tools to add to the classroom so that people feel safe in the room, in their bodies, and with me. The curriculum helped me learn how to take care of myself as a teacher who is healing WITH my class.”

    — Tiara, Atlanta, GA

  • “In three weekends of our Teacher Training we went from a group of strangers to a team. I was able to speak some of my insecurities and worries and the group held me. I think the most helpful aspect was that Halli modeled what it means to be a healthy and attentive teacher. It was clear that everyone’s contribution mattered and our mistakes were a part of the learning process. I experienced so much love from others in the Teacher Training.”

    — Amacy, Salt Lake City, UT

  • “In the Teacher Training, safe space was being created and safe space was being held.”

    — Stephanie, Atlanta, GA
